Can my motherboard handle this card? How about my case?

Hello guys. So with the pascal gpu's out, I wanted to know before I purchase one whether it will fit in my case or not. My mobo is an H81, don't know specifically which one except that it's a C2 revision. I will add some attachments showing the motherboard on cpu-z ,speccy, etc. I know pc cases really deserves another thread for it, but if you guys can answer it here as well, that would be much appreciated. My case model is M51AD by asus. It's a mid-tower case that can hold up to micro ATX. My motherboard I believe is a micro atx. It has one pci-e 2.0 x16 slot while the others are x1 slots.

My question is, do you guys think I can fit the 1080/70/60 (whichever one I end up choosing), inside a micro atx motherboard? I have heard on the internet that it's recommended to go with an ATX mobo to put one of these gpu's in. However, if I would rather not do that if it's not necessary to. I have the budget to do so, but if performance isn't going to take a hit, then I don't feel the need to spend the money for it. Tell me why I should go with an atx mobo if you think it's necessary. Finally, do you guys think the case will fit the gpu? I plan to get ftw edition of the 1080/70/60. Thanks in advance.

Solution
Yes, according to Asus your case can handle a PSU up to 185mm long with an optical drive installed, and the PSU you selected is 180mm, so it should fit just fine.

Thanks for the quick reply. I mean when I talked to some best buy reps., (I bought the pc at best buy), at the time the 980ti was the newest and greatest out there. They said that my case isn't the best for the 980ti, but that it should still have no problems going in. I assume the 1080/70 are around the same size as the 980ti, but then again, I am no pc expert, hence why I made this thread. Nice to know that at least the 1060 fits.

Ok. The height difference doesn't seem like much either. Do you think length is more of an issue than height when it comes to seeing if the gpu fits? You seemed to talk more about length rather than the height. The last few questions I have deal with the mobo. Do you think my mobo is compatible with the pascal cards? Do you think running a gpu in pci-e 2.0 x16 vs. pci-e 3.0 x16 makes a performance difference? Lastly, do you think the atx mobo size is needed, or can I get away with the micro atx size? Sorry for all these questions, but I am a total noob at pc knowlege.

Ok. Last set of questions. My psu is a evga 750 supernova. That is an atx psu. Do you still think I can fit it in a micro atx case? I know you can't really tell unless you are physically there. But does it being an atx automatically make it not be able to fit? Some 1070's I looked up also have atx in them. Does that also mean it won't fit for that specific 3rd party card of the 1070?You did say a micro atx mobo is fine, but what about the micro atx case? Basically, if it states atx on the product, does it automatically mean it's too big for the case?

Alright thanks for all the helpful info. I appreciate it. So I will do the same for any 3rd party gpu. If it says atx, I will instead look at the length, width, etc. instead of looking at if it's atx or not, as even atx components can fit in a micro-atx build. Thanks again.
