Can my motherboard sli?

My motherboard is asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0 i know it says it cant or not supported but the link below tho??

The link you provided is saying that in a Crossfire only motherboard, you can still put an "SLI-ready" graphics card (single card configuration only).
