Question Can my motherboard support 5ghz internet?

If I were to get a usb adapter, like this per say, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/linksy..._Mrzm2yxYCIJEksVCQ8aAoYnEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds would this work with my Cyber tron Borg q with a AMD 760G motherboard, I see it has usb 3.0 ports with it, but I wouldn't want to risk buying a new stick only for it to keep connecting me to the 2.4 ghz network.

The network card (in this case the USB stick) is what determines the frequencies it can use. In this case the USB adapter supports 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. So, it will connect to a 5Ghz 802.11AC network.

To make use of full USB 3.0 speed. Your motherboard will need an available USB 3.0 port. Otherwise you'll be limited to USB 2.0 speeds. As the AMD 760G came out in 2008. It's likely USB 2.0 only. It'll still connect to 5Ghz but 480mbps is the theoretical speed limit.
