Can my motherboard support a new SSD?

I want to add an SSD to my PC, but I don't know if my motherboard actually supports it.

Motherboard: ASUSteK computer inc M5A78l-m/USB3 (Does that USB3 mean it can? I'm so sorry, I'm really no expert on anything)

SSD: KingSpec 64GB SSD 2.5-inch SATAIII 6GB/s Internal Solid State Drive 60GB 64GB （T-64）

Hello strongtesting, you may check the definition of USB 3.0 here. In regards to the M5A78L-M/USB3 supporting the SSD check on the specs of the MB.

Your MB has six SATA 3Gb/s port. So the answer is 99.99% chance it will work
