I have a mother board which is just over 5 years old. Its a ixtreme M5722. I was wondering if it could support any Nvidia graphics card or atleast anything above the 700 series.

Solution
Your motherboard will support all modern graphics cards as PCI-e uses the same connections no matter the version. Even the oldest x16 slots are as fast as SSDs for loading data.

Your CPU slots is outdated and I can pretty much guarantee unless you are buying a 75 Watt 950 you will be heavily bottlenecked by your CPU.
