I have a: ConRoe1333-D667 R2.0 - Motherboard
(Old, I know 😀)

Its says that it only supports up to windows vista, I have a windows xp home edition SP3 32 bit
Are there any drivers that will make this motherboard support windows 7, or not?

It would be great for a quick answer because, I might try to get windows 7 64 bit on to my computer.
I have linked the motherboard details.
It is also made by ConRoe I think

Computer Specs:
Operating System:
Windows XP Home Edition SP3 32-bit
Hopefully Upgrading to Windows 7

CPU:
Intel Pentium E2180 2.00GHz (Conroe 65nm Technology)
Hopefully soon upgrading my CPU to: Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 - 2.13 GHz

RAM:
2.00GB Single-Channel DDR2 @266 MHz
Will upgrade when I am installing windows 7.

Motherboard:
ConRoe1333-D667 (CPUSocket)

Graphics:
(This is on a 1366 x 768@60Hz moniter)
1024MB NVIDIA GeForce 210 (CardExpert Technology)
Hopefully Upgrading to Geforce 550 GTX Ti by EVGA

Storage:
74GB Seagate ST380011A (ATA)
232GB MAXTOR STM3250310AS (SATA)

Optical Drive:
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S202N

Audio:
NVIDIA High Definition Audio

Sorry if this is too much information, I thought it would be helpful 😀
Also if people think I have a very low end computer, I have a higher end windows 7 CPU that others use in my family.

Thanks for helping if you can 😀

Solution
Hi

Check the inel web site for motherboard chipset driver availability
Check sound chip driver availability
Conroe refers to Intel processor model not motherboard manufacturer
CPU-z will show motherboard make and model as well as cpu details

Check availability & cost of extra ram probably ddr-2
No point of using 64 bit windows unless more than 4 GB of ram installed
