I have an ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CM6340 (LGA1155) motherobard. Can i install and use an INNO3D GeForce GTX 1050 2 GB GDDR5 Pci-E DVI Dual Link on it?

Solution
Good unit! To pair with your XFX PSU the XFX RX460 would be compliment your system though I'd suggest the Gainward over the XFX.
What is your processor, PSU and current GPU? Better yet what are your full system's specs? Limits can come from the PSU's wattage, the processor being the bottleneck(definitely) and the case not allowing for aftermarket GPU's to drop in. You can use CPU-Z to find what processor and the amount of ram you have as well as the BIOS revision.

If you're unsure of the PSU, might want to shoot us a picture of it.

Hey there.
I have to say you have given the name of the entire computer, and not the model of the motherboard.
However, I would almost guarantee that the GTX1050 will work.
This is because the 1050 uses a PCIe slot that is on the motherboard, and is backwards compatible with older motherboards.
You may need to take out a bracket on the back of the case to fit the card in, if the case is small the card might not fit!

Another thing to keep in mind is whether you have a decent power supply in the computer. As a minimum, the 1050 requires a quality 300w power supply. Assuming a prebuilt computer (as it looks like), the unit should come with a 350w power supply that should work fine.
Ventilation seems adequate - there is mesh on the side of the case and the 1050 uses very little power anyway.

So, the card should fit and work properly. I wish you good luck!

Lutfij, from what I read the computer came with either an i5 or i7 processor, correct me if I am wrong...
We know these have four cores and even with a lower clock speed of 3GHz this should be more than enough to run a GTX 1050.
In the last couple of generations, Intel CPUs have not improved much on performance so performance with a similar clockspeed CPU will not make much of a difference.
I would say the limiting factor could be the amount of RAM but this model seems to be towards mid-end and likely has 8GB of RAM which to me is a good amount to use with a moderately powerful GPU 😀

Ok to answer at the first questions i have a 550W PSU that i installed together with a gtx660 3 years ago. Sadly last week the 660 died ;no idea why, since the fans are moving but the motherboard doesnt recognize it anymore and had to switch back to the "integrated" 620. Since the i started to look for a good alternative for about 100-130 Euros and came across the 1050 but im not sure if the old motherboard can run it. Btw here are some other specs from Speccy:

As i said i have a budget of 100-130 Euros and i mainly use pc for gaming.
Im used to play games like Dark Souls 3 or GTA 5 on medium-high settings with 1900x1600 resolution (monitor limit)
