Can my MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum AM2+/AM2 run an AM3 processor?

Started to google around and noticed some AM2+ boards can do AM3 processors. I have a MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum AM2+/AM2 and was curious if mine could do AM3 processors? I googled around but couldn't really find an answer.
