for first, thanks for giving me your attention,i really need some professional help and advices.

So,i built a new pc with i3 6100, 8GB 2400 (downclocked to 2133mhz, 2x4gb) and an old GPU.
so the main thing is,i am using my old, unused (probably) HDD that is making some scratching noises (No clue, why it does),Well,i really don't have any cruel information to worry about,i am actually worrying about other hardware parts, can my HDD cause any damage to other parts?

Solution
No it can't.
And about your HDD, check it if it is secured in its "cage" and it is not moving around like shaking.
If its not moving then it is probably faulty.
