Can my PC answer Texts and phone calls?

Ok so I have a Galaxy S5, I can use android apps on my PC via a Android Emulator (Andy) and I can access my Computer and control it in real time via Teamviewer... My phone can stream Media off my network easily via Esexplorer... and my PC and Phone can both use the printer on my network...
Can my PC receive texts and phone calls from my android... I have looked and looked for something that can do this but I keep coming up short... I will buy an adaptor if I need to.

All are great ideas, I wanted call and text forwarding... Gmail works pretty good but only if you leave it opened all the time... isn't there a forwarding application that would give me a notification on my systems tray... or a pop up window if I'm getting a phone call from my cell? I have cams and mics all I need is the software... if someone can right a sub routine for me I'd pay for it.

Only solution that I'm aware of, and it's not elegant, Magic Jack for phone calls on PC, or Skype, if you'd like that route, and AIM for messages, AIM handles SMS.

Of course... I do it all the time with Google Voice. I have large hands and find typing on my keyboard to be faster and easier.
