Can My PC handle 4k (Acer Predator X34)

Solution

First, that 1440 monitor isn't 4K... it's considered a 2K monitor... and YES, it can handle it without any problems. That resolution is actually considered a Sweet Spot between 4K and 2K... so it's ok.
with gtx 980ti i dont think so you need a better video card for that still you should be able to go 1444p with no problems also i am not sure there is any system capable to handle 4k properly as far as i can remember but if you are really interested i think you should look for fury xs or titan current models

The 980 Ti should run it just fine, but you can always look up reviews of that specific card model.
Be-careful when buying from NCIX, read their returns policy very well, sometimes the policy is on a different page than the global return policy. Long story, bad experience, which is why I buy almost everything from Amazon or Newegg or when I can I support a local store near me.

1 thing I always like to do when building a PC is having 1 SSD for windows and all the 'office' stuff like documents, and what not.
I get a 2nd SSD drive for all my games.
That way if I need to wipe and reinstall windows for any reason I don't loose all my games or vice-versa with wiping the game drive.

Newbuulder, I have an xb270hu with a 980 ti reference but I'm selling both for a MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G and a new monitor. Not that the xb270hu isn't, good I love it, but I'm looking for something. Another pro to the X34 is built in speakers when I am playing with friends/family and blowing their mind at how beautiful Witcher 3 is. :)

Why would you sell a 980 ti for another lmao just keep the reference. The only difference between yours and that gaming card is a new cooler strapped on and factory OC.

Also this card can handle 4k ultra, just not at 60. Maybe around 40-50 fps.

Reference gets hot yea, but not to the point the card burns itself out lmao.

save the hassle and just get this from EVGA, for all 980, 980 ti and titan x.

So instead of getting a new card, just slap this on and enjoy what you got now :).
