I'm currently running a very out of date graphics card and am trying to play a few more advanced games. I'd also like to run my VR headset on my main PC.

MOBO: ASUS P9X79 Pro
CPU: Intel i7-3930K
GPU: GeForce GTX560Ti
PSU: Corsair TX850M

Yes... your system can handle an RTX card, though depending the age of the TX850M, you might want to upgrade if going with a 3080 or higher RTX card.

Your system will be bottlenecked by the outdated system. I came from a i7-3960K with my RTX 3080 and saw a huge difference when I upgraded to the i9-10850K setup.
