HI
So i understand a little more than the basic of PC building. Can anyone answer me if this build is okay. Or if there is anything in it that could make it better? Any sugestions would help. Thanks in advance!

Specs
Motherboard MSI z87-g43 gaming.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 4001 Mhz, 4 cores, 8 Logic processor.

ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 ROG STRIX OC.

Cooler Master V850, 850W PSU

Kingston DDR3 HyperX Beast 8GB
Kingston HyperX Gen DDR3-1600 DC - 8GB

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo 120mm

Apart from overclocking that processor, adding an SSD and overclocking the rams as well, there is nothing more you can add to your system to make it run more, erm, faster. I don't think you need to look into a new platform IMHO, you're good as is, albeit with some reduced details on that new GPU.

Don't mix and match your Ram first of all, If you're going to have 16GB ideally you want it to be the same type and not different speeds.

Do you have a solid state drive? Definitely recommend one of those if you don't.

Otherwise it seems like a nice build to me.

Yeah i do have 2 SSD´s, 1 running my OS and 1 for games.
Does it hurt my performance to have different RAM types?
im interrested in learning.

You can run into issues with different ram types.

As for ram speeds your system will run all speeds identically, so if you had a pair of 1200mhz sticks and a pair of 1600mhz as example, all sticks would run at the lowest mhz of the two sets.

Oh alright.
So an upgrade to CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO would be ideal
due to the same type and speed and also an upgrade from the DDR3 to the DDR4?

Matching RAM is ideal, yeah.

Your motherboard isn't compatible with DDR4 RAM.

If your current ram works and there are no issues, then changing them to CORSAIR Vengeance most likely is of little/no benefit.

Oh glad u told me that. Is there a motherboard u would recommend? i know mine is a couple of years old.

Why would i have to get a new CPU?

Yikes, i completely overlooked this. Lack of sleep is a definite issue for me here.

Oh alright thanks for that.

Are there a motherboard, ram´s and a processor you would suggest?
that ofc supports my build
My case is a Corsair Graphite 760T Big Tower
Im looking for some of the newer versions. Since i pretty much use my pc all the time since im a programmer, coder and full time gamer.

You're now jumping across two boats travelling down the same stream. Pick one thread since it's devolved to you investing in a new CPU, motherboard and ram combo regardless of what we say or what you do. Pick one thread to respond to and we'll maintain bearing. You've chosen my post in the other thread as a Best Answer but I think you were premature in your choice since the thread isn't solved. I'll lock that thread if you want to maintain bearing on this one.

Sorry, i went to this one because i thought Sky had locked my other thread.

^ He doesn't have authority to close/lock threads, I do. That being said, he didn't do anything except for pointing out that you were talking about the same thing across multiple threads.

SO which one will it be? This thread or the other which should be closed?
