Can my PC run 4K?

I'm looking to get a 4K monitor. I have a Gtx 1080 and an Intel i7 6700K. Will I be able to run 4K games at decent frame rate.

Yes you can, for 30fps @ultra but should get 60 for med settings.

Yes, but you will going to have to lower some settings. If you want to run games at 4k on ultra settings, you are going to need a gtx 1080 TI.

I would say there isn't a single GPU suitable for 4K 60hz at max settings in all titles. That is why I am a big proponent of QHD and WQHD solutions instead. Resolution is still decent, and you are sacrificing very little to get higher frame rates.

I also don't think there is any 4K screen out there that I wouldn't have immediate buyer's remorse over as the next big thing came out.
