Your gpu should be up to the task but the cpu might limit your fps it’s worth a try but you might be upgrading your cpu down the road. An i7 would help some but not massively

The quest will be about as good as the rift s but if you are doing this just for pcvr you are better off with the rift s because it's just a superior headset when it comes to pcvr. The rift s is more optimized for pcvr and the resolution technically isn't better but it's better.
Id say you should go with the rift s.
