Can my PC run a gtx 1060?

So looking to upgrade to a 1060 from a 560ti.
Built pc myself. Specs:

i5-3570k
sabertooth z77
8gb ram
1000w psu
nzxt phantom 530 case
128gb ssd
1tb hdd

will it work? Thanks.

Yes, that computer works fine.

The CPU will not bottleneck, the PSU works fine, and that motherboard is compatible. The case doesn't have any space restrictions.

What is your power supply?

1000w is excessivly overkill for your build so it makes me wonder if it is a cheapo unit with a high number simply printed on a sticker.

its a corsair, was a good price and didn't want to be left ever needing any extra.

In that case, while there were many blah corsair units made a few years ago, if it powered a 560 then it should have no issues with a less power hungry 1060.
