Can my PC run at 2k?

I am thinking of upgrading my PC and monitor to 1440p as I play a lot of strategy and this will improve the quality. I mainly play games like civilization 5, Europa universalis 4 and Gmod but I play fallout 4 (probably my most demanding game) at ultra graphics 30-35 fps. I have also thought of over locking my CPU and GPU so if you could help with that as well I would be grateful. My current specs are

Motherboard: ASRock 970DE3/U3S3
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Black edition
GPU: GTX 750 TI 2gb vram
Ram: 8 gigs ddr3 1333 hertz ram
Power: Not sure really but I think it is 500 watts

You will have near unplayable fps on most of the games you stated, even on low settings.

A FX6300 + GTX750ti would be terrible at 1440p. It barely a mediocre 1080p setup.

I would recommend...
CPU: i5 6500
GPU: GTX 980 or R9 Fury

The R9 390X may work for less demanding games.

If you are going to go for the i5 6500, i would recommend the Asrock H170 Pro4 and get a 8 GB 2133 Mhz CL15 (or lower) RAM.

Yeah you at least need an i5 + R9 390 or GTX970

Is there an AMD CPU I could use as I don't want to replace my motherboard and I have AMD replacement parts? And like I said before I might overclock. Would putting another 750 ti in there improve anything?
