Can my pc run Windows 10?

There used to be a checker available somewhere but can't seem to find it, but I have a Netbook running Windows xp and I wanted to run Windows 10 32bit on it since xp is no longer supported. I don't want to run 7 because 10 is a lighter build and I was wondering if putting 10 on these would help it out.

It's a Gateway Netbook LT2016U
Intel Atom CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz
2gb of RAM
All Drivers and securities are up to date on it as well

Would this little PC be able to run it? Or would it be a waste of time?

Thank you!

Solution
i updated an old acer netbook to win 10 a while back from win 7 and did not have any problems with speed. only issue i saw was the graphics driver for the atom processor. intel did not make a win 10 driver for the old atom chips. so you will be stuck on the basic driver and lose a lot of the features like screen dimming and some other stuff like that. can seriously effect battery life having the screen full blast 24/7.

mine has an N2600 chip but i think your older one will have the same issue as i did not see any atom igp drivers at all from intel. other than that everything else worked fine. it's still just as slow as it always was but with some fine tuning and a ton of services turned off, it is good enough for what it is.

Mainly want to upgrade these because of the fact that xp is no longer supported. I have 2 of them so I might load windows 10 on one of them and see how it goes. Do they still have that free version of Windows 10 out? Could I try using that?

You could download the Windows 10 USB installer tool, and install. You'll get that nagging note in the corner about registering it with a proper license key, but you will still have most of the functionality even if you never register it.
