hello, my pc specs are intel core i3-8100 3.6 GHZ, geforce gtx 1050, gigabyte z370 hd3 and 8GB ram and i was wondering if my pc can handle streaming [WoW, fortnite] and if so in what quality? thanks!

WOW - maybe.
Fortnite - probably not and still playable.

You might be able to do 480 streaming and not overload the CPU, but with only 4 threads, you're at the typical i5 dilemma of not having enough threads to stream AND game at the same time. Worth a shot if you can tolerate the performance hit, though.

i was told i could do a basic stream and the rest depends on my internet connection [which will be wired]
so basically it can't go above 480?
i read somewhere to stream from the gpu with the geforce experience so i won't overload the cpu but i'm not exactly sure how that will work

1050 or 1050ti?
You can stream off gpu and it will lessen load and without big impact on perfomance, but muddier image, but its good for a start, it will reqzire a bit higher bitrate.

Cpu encoding is an option via quicksync, if you enable igpu in bios and set vram to 512mb you could test out how it performs, it will need a bit tinkering.

1050, but how much of a difference will i have in quality if i stream from gpu vs cpu? i really don't know what's the best option atm and even if it's just the start quality is the most important for me, like minimun 720p.
