You should have no problems adding an R9-270 to your configuration.

The R9-270 uses a single 6 pin PCIe auxiliary power connector which limits it's draw to 150W (75W from the PCIe slot, 75W from the 6 pin connector) - your PSU has one PCIe connector so you should be set.

I agree with friedman. Its possible but not exactly "safe". I would say its risky. One guy ran a 7950 on a 500W, and that card takes up 200W, and he had 0 problems, but he had a 80 plus bronze, which means he had 85% efficiency and yours has 75%. So instead of having a 500W PSU its more like you have a 375W. So, i would recommend that you don't go for it.

And, the 270X does use two 6 pin PCI-E connectors. And the graphics card pulls 180W but "could" pull 225W.

One problem, the card you link is an R9-270X which is a completely different animal than the R9-270, the R9-270X can handle another 75w for a total of 225W (typically draws about 180W).
You might have issues running the GV-R927XOC-2GD but it does come with adapters to allow two molex connectors to become a single 6 pin. The use of adapters is not ideal and you might want to look into getting a higher quality PSU in there (not necessarily more powerful)

Is there a reason you're looking at CM PSU's in particular? The problem with that is that Cooler Master uses more OEM's for their PSU's than anyone else I am aware of - few of them are quality. If you must get a CM PSU I will recommend one from the following series; "V" series built by SeaSonic, "VS" series built by Enhance, "Silent Pro M2" 720W or higher by Enhance (lower than 720W are made by SevenTeam, not as high of quality IMO), "Silent Pro Gold" 600W or above by Enhance, or "Silent Pro Hybrid" by Enhance.
I will recommend looking at XFX PSU's as a good value (all are made by SeaSonic)
