Hi guys, I was planning to buy a INWIN 301 pc case and I am worrying that my PSU will not fit. I have the seasonic M12II evo full modular. Can it fit? Help. Thanks.

Solution
Im part with you in agreement mate, when I use matx boards I tend ot stick with matx cases (if they're windowed) becasue aesthetically a matx board can look lost in a full size atx case.

On the matx front

Coolermaster masterbox lite 3.1
Fractal Design FOcus G mini
Fractal Design Mini C (windowed or tempered glass)

Those would be my alternate choices for matx cases that support more than 1 hard drive, the Mini C is easily the best but I have no ide if theyre available where you are ??

That Inwin 301 really is a lovely looking case, the lack of hard drive bays though would just kill it for me personally.

atx size??

Id look at the Inwin 503 & the phanteks p400 - to me theyre both far nicer looking than the s340

I forgot, I have the 620w by the way. So it will fit in the IN WIN 301 then?
How about the Length of the PSU? I am kinda confuse about the Width, Length and depth.

The length is the 160mm , the other dimension are standard across all atx size psu's - only the length differs.

Your psu will fit. It will have to be slid in with all cables disconnected & the cables plugged in afterwards from the inside.

Which is a little awkward but hardly impossible

Oh, okay thank you for the help. I really appreciated it. how about the INWIN 301 is it a good pc case?

That entirely depends on your expectation & what components you're running ??

It is a good case, certainly an absolute looker with excellent build quality & is very very compact considering the components it will take.

It has limitations though when it comes to hard drives - it will take 2 max & one of those has to be 2.5inch size.
Id also cooling potential is limited ,I wouldn't want to be running something like a vega in there.

If it fulfils your criteria yes its a nice case, bear in mind it comes with no fans whatsoever - you need to budget for 2 x 120mm fans (preferably 3 imo) which bumps the price up substantially.

If the looks are whats drawn you to it & you really like it then go right ahead, there are better value options around though that on a performance level are superior - just not as nice aesthetically.

My specs:
Mobo: GA H81MDS2
Proc: i5 4460
Ram: 8gb (2x4gb)
GPU: MSI 1060 gaming x
CPU cooler: Deepcool Ice Edge Mini FS
I laso have 2 Corsair HD 120 fans
PSU: Seasonic M12II 620 w EVO

I'm not sure about my HDD, i thnk i have the WD blue 500gb HDD and I have 1 WD green 240 gb SSD. I am also planning to buy the 2tb WD black HDD for games and storage.

Like I said ,that case will not take 2 3.5inch drives so If you bought a 2tb black (which Ill be honest I wouldnt because you can get a 3tb toshiba drive for about the same price & its barely any slower) your current 500gb drive would have to go.

What country are you & whats your budget for a case ??

Assuming you're after the red/black look??

Are you after as small a case as possible or is size not really that much of an issue??

Like I said the inwin 301 is nice if it fits all your needs, If it doesnt then there are cases with a lot more expandability for a similar price.

I'm from the philippines ang my budget is around 4000php, I think if I convert it to USD it would be $80. I really want to have a clean looking case to show off RGB lightings. Does it also look good even if I have a Matx Mobo with a big case?

no probs mate.

http://dynaquestpc.com/product/fractal-design-define-mini-c-window/

I was browsing & found the mini c at 4400 piso - I dont know if thats a viable place to purchase from.
AS I said though, out of all the matx case choices that case just kills it on the quality front by miles.
