I'm having Raidmax RX-500 XT PSU, and on the market there are one fan edition 1060 gpu which needs 6 pin connector (I have), but I wanted to buy 2 fan edition which needs 8 pin connector.
Well, I'm new to PC building, so I wanted to ask, i saw my psu has one 6 pin, one 6+2 pin connector, can I use that 6+2pin as 8pin for a 2 fan 1060?
Thanks

I cannot even find your PSU at http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page6337.htm. This suggests to me it is one of the models that Raidmax would prefer people forgot ever existed. In the absence of a competent technical review, regardless of the number of connectors it has, I would assume it is capable of no more than 75% of its label; drawing more power than that from it may cause it to choke, smoke, and croak, possibly violently enough to damage other attached parts.
I see from www.80plus.org that it does not have 80+ certification, which tests at 100% load (although at unnaturally low temperatures).
