Hey guys,

This has probably been answered a thousand times but I can't seem to figure out if my PSU will be able to handle a graphics card I'm thinking about buying. The PSU is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021 and the gfx is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133495.

I'm not sure what all I need to provide to get the best answer but if need be I can post my specs.

Thanks in advance,
Dephloc

I figured that but I just wanted to make sure it'd be fine. Thank you very much for the quick response.

Another question though, would it be beneficial to keep my old graphics card and put this one is as well? My current gfx is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 285 (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt...). Or should I just use the one I am going to buy?

while that is true, the 285 wont turn on until physx is running and it wont utilize all of that GPU's power so it wont be running anywhere near max TDP.

i would try it. see if it makes a difference in frame rate.

I just don't (know) or want anything to happen since this is a nice bit of money I'm spending for the gfx, is there anything special I need to know if I have 2 graphic cards? Configuration wise? I've never had two so I don't know what all needs to happen.
