Can my PSU run a 1080 without problems

I have a MS-N450 SYS (450W) PSU and I was thinking of getting a 1080 but it says I need a PSU of 500W but I see a lot of people saying you can use less so I'm wondering if I can run a 1080 without having to buy a new PSU as I'm not the best at installing new stuff into my PC

No way, you need to get a better quality PSU than that, it's really only a 408W PSU, if it can actually supply that.

Something like:

Seasonic Focus Plus 550W
Corsair RMX 550W
EVGA G2 or G3 550W



MOST of those A lot of people either don't have a GTX 1080 etc and or aren't running 450W PSU's as almost none of the 450W PSU have the PCIe connections to power the GTX 1080's in the 1st place. Most GTX 1080's need 2x 8pin PCIe power connections.


And there aren't many PSU's that are good quality under 550W.
