So I have an i3. A standard chassis. And I want to upgrade my gpu to gtx 970. Don't worry about the i3, I will upgrade it later to i5 or i7. The problem is that can the gtx 970 run on this psu?

I sure hope it does because i want to buy a better chassis with the extra money I will be left over with after I buy the GTX 970. And my second question is will water cooling be required for this gpu if I have no intentions of overclocking? Thanks

Solution
Yes your PSU should handle the 970 and no you don't require water cooling for it. Even you were to overclock(reasonably) you wouldn't require water cooling.

yeah idk I just really like to go overkill on PSUs just to be safe.
