Can my psu run the AMD 7770

I have an Antec-VP-450. it has 18 Amps on 2 12v rails (=360w max output) And a total of 450 watts (450w) CPU:i3-4150. oh and will it bottleneck with the cpu 😛 . also i have 8gb of DDR3.

You need 450W. Get a PSU with a single 12V rail eg XFX550, Antec HCG 520M

your +12v supplies 360w

Antec VP 450 is a tier two class B PSU. Which is very good .

Since a I3 4150 CPU draws very low amount of power (54W) for a desktop cpu. It is very safe to use a HD 7770 (R7-250X) with your actual PSU.

But not single rail 12V. It won't supply enough current - you need at least 19A.

The antec VP450 has two virtual +12V rails since it is in fact one.

It has one 6 pin connector for video card and the +12V rails can output up to 29A.

It says 18 A for each +12V rails. ATX 12V is on one cable and 6pin Connector on the other +12V cable.
