Can my SSD be saved?

Hello,
I recently attempted to reformat an Intel 330 SSD with an external SATA adapter and mistakenly pulled the usb cable out of the computer without applying the "safe disconnect". Now it isn't recognized at all.
I was trying to use Intel's data migration software, but it didn't pick up the presense of the Intel drive, although the laptop had. Without thinking, I pulled the usb and re-inserted it. Now both of my computers treat the assembly loke a bare cable.
Can this be fixed, or did I kill it?

Thanks for the response. I didn't remember whether it showed in BIOS, so I hooked it back up again. My karma must be better today because it showed right up in BIOS, then management, then Intel's migration software recognized it too!

Left it run overnight to wipe it clean and cloned the old HD today.

Thanks sneak_stealth, you've got the magic touch! :)
