Can my z -97 gaming 3 work with sli

Because i have reed that mine board is noly working crossfire and i dont amd because of high tdp and nvidia much better and optimizing
So is there any way i can sli with my board cuz i need 2 gtx 970

I see nowhere on MSI website about Z97 gaming 3 SLI-capable.
I see only XFire.
I think that mobo can only XFire.
