Question Can new coaxial wires work with an existing router?

I purchased some components for my router.
I purchased a splitter a 2 longer coax cable, and another router.

do you thing this setup will work with the old and the new router?

Most ISPs only provide a single IP address. The second router may not get an IP. Additionally, each device that connects to you ISP has to be registerd with them. They probably won't allow a second device to be registered.

And I will ask the question what is the problem or the requirement for a second router?

There may be other solutions and options.

Make and model information for current modem and router or modem/router if combined.
