[SOLVED] Can not boot

When I turn on the MAC it gives a symbol of a folder with a question marl on it and will not boot or do anything else. Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it. Please help, thank you.

Your mac cant find the startup disk. I have an iMac G5 without a hard drive and it does the same thing. This Apple support article should help.
