so i recently turned my h80i around so it blew out of my case instead of blowing into my case. but when i turned my pc back on only 1 power cable to the fans work( both fans work perfectly fine) and the fans and the pump no longer show up in link software i have tried to following to the resolve the issue and none have worked.

Reinstalled link
updated link
updated firmware for h80 and link
swapped the fans round to check it was the power cables and not the fans
cpu idles at around 35 degrees instead of 5-10 before
im have no come to the conclusion that either the fan is not running fast enough to get rid of the heat from the rad or the pump has slowed down and the fan is running slow.

Questions
1: how do i speed up the fan if i cant control it
2: do i claim on the warrenty and say theres something faulty with it
3: just go with it and stop playing most of the games i play as well as stopping both my partnered youtube channels as i currenlty can not render vids without my cpu hitting 50+ degrees

if it helps i have a fx 8350 running at stock 4.0ghz

any help would be amazing

Are fans plugged into a 4-pin fan connector? Make sure the Corsair Link connector is FULLY plugged into the cooler.

1) As said, 35degC is normal. It's actually impossible to run below 10degC in a typical room as that's way below room temperature.

50degC+ is normal for video editing with that CPU.

2) Put your hand in front of the fan then do something stressful on the CPU to see if it speeds up (video editing, Prime95..). If so, your fan control is working.

3) Can you plug your fans directly into the motherboard and use use the motherboard fan control software?
