Question Can not decide if a new RAM I buy online would fit in my laptop

I have a dell inspiron 5570 with 8th generation core i5 8250u and Amd Radeon 530 Graphics Card. However, the ram that i have is only 4gb which tends to bottleneck the performance. I want to add an additional 4gb RAM, but I am not sure whether the new RAM would fit in my motherboard or not. The RAM that I want to buy is ADATA Premier 4GB DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM.

It looks to be the right spec. At least it matches the spec Crucial gives for that model.

crucial is the source i use as well. match the specs it gives and you should be good to go

But there are so many other things like CAS latency and clock speed that don't exactly match with the RAM I have on my PC right now. Do they matter ?

yes you should match the specs as closely as possible to ensure they work together.

so look for the same CAS and speed if possible, or buy a new matched set of 2 sticks for the total you want if you wish to increase the speed or other specs.
