Can not detect wifi.and not setting wifi router

Plz help me..my laptop running very slow..

on newer laptops make sure the wifi led is the right color to show it on. you can now turn wifi off on laptops using the funtion keys and some laptops have on/off swiches on the bottom of the laptop for wifi cards.
