So, I've completed the DosDude Catalina patch on my 2011 MacBook Pro. It took some work and determination, but, after several tries, Catalina is installed and the system is running smoothly, although, boot time has increased significantly.
But now, I am unable to boot into the OS X utility where I can issue the terminal command to re-enable SIP.
From a cold start, I used <command+R> and waited for the familiar melodic chord that sings out when you start a Mac and released the <command+R>.
The screen turns white and I wait. An hour later, I still have a blank white screen.
Anyone else have this issue? Do you have a solution?
Thank you,
Dom
