can not save/change password on TP-Link Router

Hi All

I have a TP-LINK router, i have been using the wireless connection for 2 years now with the same password. One morning i am not able to connect using the password. Now i am wired to the router using a cable; internet connection is working. I checked the password set for the wireless connection; and it was the old password! so nothing changed. Tried to change the password; still not able to connect wirelessly. Any Help/Advice
