Hey Guys,

So was doing a new build MSI Gaming 5 motherboard, Didn't get a post on start up. Tried the usual stuff and then finally disassembled the system and on removing the processor noticed one bent pin.

Now what I want to know is expect for the Led lights on the board nothing else worked. No system Fans, not even the CPU fan, and no debug led either. So could the one bent pin be the cause for all of this or is it just dead motherboard.

Cause it might be worth trying to fix the one bent pin before if it is the cause of all this if it's not then no point and might as well try and RMA it, and since it is with Newegg dunno how well that will go.

Thanx for the help!

Solution
One bent pin is all it takes to wreck a mobo.
There is also no way you'll be able to straighten it either that I know of. Those pins are just to flimsy that any attempt to straighten them ends up with the pin breaking off.
Good luck with the RMA route. (hint- you got it like that)
