Question Can only connect to my extender all of a sudden

After a windows update I can only connect to my netgear Wi-Fi extender. Whenever I attempt to my router I am met with either "no internet, secured" or "cant connect to this network" My provider is Xfinity and I've never had this issue before. Any ideas?

Are you able to determine what windows update was installed - look in the history.

Any error codes or warnings in Reliability History?

Run and post the results of "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt?

Make and model router?
