Can only reach modem website on smartphone.

Heya guys.

So, for some reason, when I try to connect to 192.168.1.1 with any bowser it wont' reach it. However, when I do it on my smartphone, it warns me that it isn't a safe website (which is somewhat common from what I've read) and after a couple of taps I can finally access my modem's landing page and tinker around.

I've tried turning off my anti-virus (ESET Nod32) as well as resetting the modem (my desktop is connected via ethernet cable). I really don't know what else to do, so if you guys have any idea I'll really appreciate it!

Did you type in the ip into the bowser´s address and not the search field?
