Hello,

Yesterday, i had some friends in my house and we were watching something on my pc. One of them, when he wanted to show me something, he used to push the monitor with his finger. 4-5 times the pressure was quite hard because i realised this change of colours in lcd's screen when you push them (like rainbow).

Till now, i see no problem or error in my monitor. No dead pixels. Also i cheched if backlight has increased but i think everything is fine as before.

Can PC monitor broken by finger pressure? If my monitor got broken, the damage will be shown instantly on screen after the pressure or maybe i will encounter an error/problem in near future?

*Sorry for my english. Looking forward hearing from you.

Hehe! Exactly! It's very annoying to be very carefull with your stuff and see other people acting like this.

Hopefully monitor seems to accept a little pressure. What can i cause from pressing the monitor? Dead pixels and vertical lines?

It might look like a 'bruised' area. Not unlike a bruise on your skin.
I have an old Planar monitor like that. A couple of largeish fuzzy slightly dark areas. Too much pressure on it at one time.
I bought it like that...it was cheap.
