[SOLVED] can phone read cloned sd card with larger capacity?

Hi. I ran out of sd card capacity.
I use 16Gb and i want to switch to 32Gb.
I tried formating the new 32Gb sd card with the same allocation unit size, File system, and name.
But, after copying the file and inserting it to my phone, my app can't read the file.
Do i made a mistake or is the system need to have the same capacity?

it depends on the phones max capacitiy and file system.
as long as the file system is the same, the only barrier will generally be the phones max capacity.
This is due to the restriction on usable file systems. for example FAT32 does support 32GB. But older systems wont.
