can power outage of the electricity can damage my pc

i am living in india where the electricity problem is very much in almost every city so here i had a UPS which i am thinking is not working in a good condition because when i am using that my system hangs and cut the power suddenly.

now i decided to use the computer without UPS so if the electricity goes, will it damage my computer after the electricity gone i will remove the power plug from the electric board.
