[SOLVED] Can power outages damage computer?

Can sudden black out damage a computer? If it does, which part gets affected more? SSD,GPU,CPU,PSU? or MOBO?
 
Solution
The blackout not so much but when the power comes back there often is a short boost that could be too much for your hardware.
Usually a good PSU will protect your system but it could brake doing so.
If the PSU doesn't protect you then it could burn out any number of things it fill follow the lines on the mobo to wherever they lead.

Blackouts cause data loss, and that's about it.

Brownouts can be stressful on PSUs that aren't designed to handle undervoltage situations.

Surges, which are very short periods of very high voltage (and subsequently, current) are what cause damage to electrical components. Surge protectors are designed to divert above-normal levels of electrical current to the electrical ground.
