Can psu run my gpu

Can my psu run ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING because im not sure i have that pci-e yelow connector and i dont believe it support it and recently my screen started flickering also when i installed my gpu 2 days ago my pc lagged like hell couldnt run arma 3 overwatch etc. had really low fps now im just afraid to put it back cause like i said my screen started flickering black screen and it does that sound when u put ur usb in and out....
my rig:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
8G ram
Power supply : Corsair CS Series Modular CS750M 750W ATX 2.3
Water cooling : Corsair hydro series H100i
Motherboard : MSI Z87 - GD65 Gaming, ATX, Sockel 1150

Also how should i connect power supply cables to gpu.

Sounds like a PSU issue, as a lot of those components have a higher consumption than others.

The PSU is more than enough. Are you sure you have wired it properly? It's modular so the PCI-E cables might be left in your box?

So what psu would u suggest i should buy? And do u think my gpu died cause of that? And isnt 750W enough to run this gpu?

6+2 pin is the same as 8pin (pure 8pin doesn't exist). So just plug them.

I did but as i said something is really wrong if u checked the other link i explained what is goin on with my pc when i put gpu inside i would really appreciate if u look into it and came with some solution cause i ran out of them
