[SOLVED] Can RAM be incompatible with the processor and if so will they cause damage to each other and other components

So I built a PC a couple days ago and it wouldn't post but we figured that out. the problem is that i woke up the next morning, went to use it and it wouldn't post again and still won't, but i think i found the problem i believe that my ram is incompatible with my processor but is that possible and would that cause the PC not to post and most importantly will it cause damage to each other or to other components?
Processor - Ryzen 5 26000
Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 24000MHZ (the exact one is the CMK16GX4M2A2400C14)
MB - ASUS PRIME A320M-K

It could also be your motherboard BIOS is not compatible, you need BIOS version 3803 or later in order for 2000 series Ryzen to work. Unless the box has a sticker on it or the seller specifically listed the board as Ryzen 2000 ready, chances are its not updated. AMD does offer a free CPU to borrow to update your BIOS with https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100.

You can also see if you can find a computer shop that can do the update for you for usually a small fee.

The problem is possibly the BIOS on that motherboard. Not the RAM.

Ok I'll check but ya see I got it to post eventually the first day the reason it wouldn't post is to do with the ram, i had 2 sticks of 8GB in and its as if the MB was configured to only post with a max of 8GB because when i took one of my sticks out it posted like with a Ryzen 5 2600 and all it worked fine but the i turned it off came back the next day and it wouldn't post again and the reason i think its the ram is because i looed at the back of the box the ram wa in and it says " compatible with intel i7 and other intel cores" but it says nothing about amd ryzen? and the i went t a corsair page this one to be exact https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/RyzenCompatibility and that shows the ryzen compatible ram and my one is not listed and then i went here https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Memory/VENGEANCE-LPX/p/CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 which is the corsair site for my exact ram and if you scroll down the bottom it says "compatibility: intel 100, 200,300 series and intel x299" but once again nothing about the amd ryzen cpu's so that is what led me to believe its the ram
