Question Can ram fry your cpu if he ram is set too high

I overclocked my ram in Ryzen master to 3000 and I didn’t know what I was doing and my cpu debut light came on. My ram is 3200mhz V-color, Ryzen 5 2600x, motherboard is MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon Ac. I have tried clearing the cmos I have updated bios tried the ram in all slots. It turns on but won’t post what should I do?

Try turning off the PSU, unplugging and removing the CMOS battery completely. Then short the CMOS reset pins for 10-20 sec's. Leave the battery out while you go make a cuppa. Come back, short CMOS pins again for good measure then put it all together and try it again.
