[SOLVED] Can Ryzen 5 3600 handle chrome, discord, and gaming?

I've been told by some that the 6c-12t in the Ryzen 5 3600 isn't enough to handle gaming, discord, and a tab or two in chrome at the same time for the next 3 or so years. Is this true?

Nobody knows what the future holds. If you're worried, just go 8 core/16 thread.

While I discourage guessing what the future will hold for current gen hardware, I would be willing to bet a lot that the 3600 is going to be perfectly capable for years to come.

Who knows in the next 3 years. We'll never know, but my guess is for most games, yes it'll work fine.

The 3600 is an amazing cpu. For the next 3 years, I doubt it will make a difference towards your cpu. Chrome and Discord will not be affected. Only depends on your RAM and GPU which can change everything.
