Hello guys, i was wondering if in my build i could take the gpu out and still have the system to work.
Here is my build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Nj8vYr
I'm afraid that the ryzen doesn't work without a gpu. And also do you guys think that i should get an i7 instead of the lowest ryzen available? I'm kind of intrigued by the octacore but i heard people telling me to go with an intel i7 as i do mainly editing and barely any gaming. Also i7 has built in gpu. Which could save me few hundreds.

The current Ryzen cpu's have no igpu. While there are boards with video ports they require a Ryzen APU to work and those have not been released yet and will likely not have 8 cpu cores. The high end i7s(2011 and 2011-3) also lack igpus.
hI,

If not gaming - Ryzen because of its multiple threads performance versus price.
Yes You can run without an attached graphics card, of course depending that the motherboard has support for internal graphics APU and have some display ports available.
Best regards from Sweden
