Can Samsung EVO 840 SSD use Sata Express?

I've just completed my new build, using the MSI X99 SLI PLUS motherboard. And now its where all the tweaking and ensuring maximum performance comes into play. I have one Sata Express connection point. If I plug my EVO 840 SSD into this rather than the standard SATA port, will it operate faster? Will i operate at all?

It will operate just fine... although I am not sure if it affects performance if that's where your OS is installed. I use e-sata ports as extra ports, but I usually connect DVD drives or Logical HDDs.

It will work. SATA -E is backwards compatible. It probably won't be any faster, though.

Ok sweet, I will leave as it is if it isn't going to benefit the systems speed.

I've seen speed issues with SATA -Express and SSDs, and Magician tends to not see the SSD when plugged into SATA express. Looks like it doesn't support the SATA express driver.
