[SOLVED] Can sata cable power 5 1200rpm fans?

The brand of my case fans is called upHere it says on their amazon page this cpu fan hub's male sata cable
goes directly to psu's female sata cable (not motherboard?! I thought cpu fans is powered by motherboard. Can someone englighten me?).
But I am skeptical if it can really power 5 1200 rpm fans. If it is not advisable should I just return these fans?

A fan consumes 1 - 2w. 10w is no prob for a SATA connector.

I had some upHere 140mm fans and powered them directly via Molex (full 12v power) and they were still pretty quiet. They don't move a ton of air but at least they were quiet. Arctic P12/P14's are what you want if you want to move some serious air and be quiet and not cost a lot
