CPU - i7 3770k
GPU- Sapphire Vapor-X HD7970
MB - Asrock Z77 Extreme4
HDD - 1TB WD Caviar Black
SSD - Intel 520 series 180gb

Im just asking because 650 is sold out :(

The other PSU's available for me are :

CM GX 750W APFC
CM SILENT PRO M 700W (im thinking about this one if 550 SS cant handle it)
SEASONIC SS-850AM BRONZE (or maybe this or its overkill?)
SEASONIC SS-620GB BRONZE

Get the SEASONIC SS-620 BRONZE Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

Radeon HD 7970 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit.
Radeon HD 7970 Crossfire - On your average system the cards require you to have a 750 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina. Source: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_radeon_hd_7970_review,8.html

For more safety, durability, efficiency, quietness, cooling and performance I recommend getting the Seasonic X 560 if you are not going to CrossfireX.

Ivan: If you live in the US and can act today, this is an outstanding value.
Seasonic X-750 Gold for under $100.

Yes the G-550 is more than enough for your system.

I don't understand why someone would recommend the SS620GB over the G-550 considering that the G-550 is better; it has independant voltage regulation, it is more efficient and the SS620GB only has 3A more on the +12V rail, which I wouldn't have thought was significant.

Here is a review of the G-550:

Where do you see OP listed G-550 as a option?
